My name is Michelle Fagan
I have been married to my husband, Lealand, for 16 years.
We have two precious children Autumn and Matthew who are now 10 and 13 years old.
We live in the beautiful foothills of South Carolina where the weather is usually perfect - not too hot and not too cold!
We have a very close- knit family that enjoys spending time together and my children are home schooled.
Ever since I can remember, I have enjoyed collecting dolls. My favorites were Himstedt's, but once I was introduced to the one-of-a-kind pieces,
be it little girls or babies my taste began to change.
I began sculpting my own ooak babies after attending a seminar with famous doll artist Rita Rich. Rita is a wonderful artist and friend who has give me a great deal of encouragement along the way.
There are so many other wonderful artists who's work I have admired for so many years including Lorna Miller Sands, Eva Helland, Suzanne Roberson as well as a long time favorite sculptor of little girls Julie Fischer.
I am a member of the AADA (The Academy of American Doll Artists). My one-of-a-kind and silicone babies are available direct from me so feel free to email me at:

All of my sculptures are created by hand from my heart and express sweet, peaceful and serene emotions. Each art doll is considered to be an original, one-of-a-kind figurative sculpture, hand sculpted from mostly cernit but I also sometimes use a mix of different polymer clays depending on the look I am trying to achieve. I find sculpting a very rewarding career and I feel so lucky that I am able to do something that I enjoy so much on a daily basis! Being able to see others enjoy my work is brings me the greatest pleasure of all!
